Financial aid can make a world of difference

We know that International education can be expensive, but many institutions recognise this and provide scholarships to honour your commitment to your studies.

These scholarships are specifically designed to ease some of the burden for high-achieving and disadvantaged students, so you can concentrate on achieving the best possible results. Need based and special talents scholarships are also available often.

There are a huge variety of scholarships available across many of our partner institutions in
globally (and we know about all of them).

When you speak with our Education Counsellors, be sure to ask them which scholarships might
apply to your situation – you’d be surprised at the difference some extra funds or discounted
tuition could make.

Civil Engineering Scholarship $5000/year Must meet English language and academic requirements (70% in Year 12 or equivalent) for the Bachelor of Civil Engineering course $5000 per year, subject to satisfactory progress
charles darwin Vice-Chancellor’s International High Achievers Scholarship 25% and 50% of total tuition fees Academic excellence and high achievement; applying for full duration UG and PG degree 25 or 50% off the tuition fees for the duration of the course; if student maintains a Credit average
swinburne 2 Year Master Program Scholarship 25% of the total tuition fees International student who is eligible for an offer for one of the selected 2-year master by coursework programs. Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of your studies and will vary depending on your previous academic results.
Swinburne International Pathways Academic Scholarship $9000 The following packaged courses will qualify:
Foundation Year + Unilink Diploma + Bachelor program
Foundation + Bachelor Program
Unilink Diploma + Bachelor program
Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of the studies and will automatically be assessed for a scholarship when applying for an eligible package
Swinburne International Undergraduate Academic Scholarship 25% of total tuition fees Eligible for bachelor program Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of the studies and will automatically be assessed
Undergraduate Academic Scholarship 10% of total tuition fees Eligible for professional bachelor program Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of the studies and will automatically be assessed
Swinburne International-Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) and Master of Science (Network Systems) $2500 International student who is eligible for an offer for one of the selected 2-year master by coursework programs. Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of your studies.
charles sturt Bursary Award (Philippine market) $2500 Full payment of semester fee Reimbursement after completing 2 subjects
Bursary Award (Latin and European market) $4500 Full payment of semester fee Reimbursement after completing 2 subjects
federation Federation International Excellence Scholarships 20% reduction of annual tuition fees Academic Performance: UG – overall academic performance with “Distinction” in Year 12; PG – overall academic performance with “Credit” Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of the studies and will automatically be assessed for a scholarship
International Student Accommodation Scholarship Up to the value of $2000 Must apply for a full year (39 weeks) of full semester (17 weeks) and must be enrolled in a FedUni UG and PG programs The scholarship will be credited in two payments across the academic year contract
deakin Deakin International Scholarship 25% of your student contributions (tuition fees) Applicants must:
  • be a prospective international student
  • be eligible to study in Australia with a student visa
  • not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary
  • have achieved a 65 per cent average (or equivalent) in previous studies.

All criteria must be met.

Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive, and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements.
Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship All of your student contributions (tuition fees) or 50% of your student contributions (tuition fees) Applicants must:
  • be a prospective international student
  • be eligible to study in Australia with a student visa
  • not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary
  • have achieved an 85% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.

All criteria must be met.

Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive, and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements.
curtin university Alumni & Family Scholarship 25% of first year tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD$10,000
  • International, full fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian
  • Students commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses in 2017
  • Students commencing a full Curtin undergraduate or master by coursework program
  • Must remain enrolled in initial course and major of study unless approved by Curtin International
  • Must maintain a full time enrolment of 100 credit points each semester or study period
  • Cannot breach the scholarship conditions outlined in their scholarship offer document
  • Cannot take a leave of absence or withdraw from their units or course of study
  • Cannot be terminated from studies
